Terms of Service

1Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Draft Wars ("Draft Wars", "we", "us", or "our") and govern your access to and use of the Draft Wars website, application, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing the Service, connecting a wallet, signing an authentication message, or entering a contest, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

2Eligibility

To access or use the Service, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction (and in all cases at least 18 years old) and are otherwise capable of entering into a binding agreement.
• You are not located in, and are not a resident or national of, any jurisdiction where access to or use of the Service — or participation in skill-based fantasy contests — is prohibited or restricted by applicable law.
• You will comply with all laws, rules, and regulations applicable to you in connection with your use of the Service.

You are solely responsible for determining whether your use of the Service is lawful in your jurisdiction. If you do not meet these requirements, you may not use the Service.

3What Draft Wars Is

Draft Wars is a free-to-play, skill-based fantasy contest. You assemble a simulated portfolio of Solana memecoins from a curated candidate pool and compete against other players on a live profit-and-loss leaderboard based on real on-chain price movement.

Nothing on the Service constitutes an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to buy or sell any token or asset. The memecoins referenced in contests are independent third-party tokens that are not issued, endorsed, controlled, or affiliated with Draft Wars.

4Your Wallet & Account

To play, you sign in with your X (Twitter) account through our authentication provider (Privy), which creates a secure embedded Solana wallet for you. You then sign a plain-text authentication message with that wallet. This signature establishes your identity for login purposes only; it carries a timestamp and expires to help prevent replay.

• Connect and sign only. The only wallet interactions the Service performs are reading your public wallet address on connect and verifying a signed login message.
• We never move funds. The Service never requests a transaction, a token transfer, a spend approval, or any other on-chain action, and we never move, hold, custody, or have access to your funds or private keys.
• You are responsible for your wallet. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your wallet, private keys, and seed phrase, and for all activity that occurs under your connected wallet. We will never ask you for your seed phrase or private keys.

You may optionally choose a display handle. You are responsible for ensuring your handle does not infringe the rights of others or violate these Terms.

5Acceptable Use

Draft Wars is built on fair, skill-based competition. You agree that you will not, and will not attempt to:

• Cheat, manipulate results, or otherwise gain an unfair advantage in any contest;
• Create, operate, or coordinate multiple wallets or accounts to circumvent the one-entry-per-wallet rule or otherwise engage in multi-walleting or Sybil behavior;
• Exploit, probe, or take advantage of bugs, scoring errors, data delays, or other vulnerabilities in the Service;
• Use bots, scripts, scrapers, automation, or any non-human means to access, interact with, or enter contests on the Service;
• Interfere with, disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its servers, or its infrastructure;
• Harass, abuse, impersonate, or harm other users, or post unlawful, infringing, or offensive content (including via your display handle);
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service except as permitted by law.

We may investigate suspected violations and may, in our sole discretion, void entries, adjust standings, disqualify participants, or suspend or terminate access to protect the integrity of the contests.

6Contests, Drafts & Scoring

Each contest follows a fixed, transparent set of rules. By entering a contest, you agree to the mechanics below as they apply at the time of entry:

Building your draft

• You draft exactly 10 Solana memecoins from that contest's candidate pool.
• You are allocated $1,000 of paper credits and assign between $50 and $500 to each pick, in $50 increments.
• Your allocations must total exactly $1,000 for the draft to be valid.
• There is one entry per wallet per contest, enforced at the database level.
• Some contests may include an optional token-holding gate that requires holding a minimum amount of the project token to enter. This gate may be enabled or disabled at our discretion.

Cadence & scoring

• Contests run on a rolling cadence of roughly 12 hours of open drafting followed by roughly 12 hours live, aligned to Eastern Time (America/New_York) boundaries. Drafting locks when the live window begins.
• A start price is snapshotted for each pick when drafting locks, and an end price is snapshotted at resolution. Each pick's paper value equals its allocation multiplied by (end price ÷ start price), and your balance is the sum across all 10 picks.
• A pick that becomes unpriceable or reaches a price of zero at resolution contributes $0, and that allocation is lost.
• Entries are ranked by final balance; ties share a rank. The top 10% of entries place (with at least one placer when there are few entries).
• The server is the source of truth. Drafts are validated and scored server-side against the contest's real candidates; the client is never trusted.

Today the Service displays standings, placement, and bragging rights. Any real prizes are an optional, future feature and are not a current promise or entitlement. We may adjust, reschedule, void, or correct contests and standings to fix errors or preserve fairness and the integrity of the Service.

7Price & Market Data Disclaimer

Coin and price information used in contests is sourced from third-party, public on-chain and DEX data providers (such as DexScreener and Jupiter) and from trending Solana and pump.fun markets. We do not control, generate, or guarantee this data.

Market data may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, or unavailable, and snapshots are taken at specific moments that may not reflect any particular market value. We provide all market and price data "as is" and without warranty of any kind. The memecoins referenced in contests are independent of Draft Wars; their existence, behavior, and pricing are outside our control, and we are not responsible for the conduct of any token, project, or data provider.

8No Financial Advice

The Service is provided for entertainment and skill-based competition only. Nothing on the Service constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax, or other professional advice, nor a recommendation, endorsement, offer, or solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any token or asset. Memecoins are volatile and speculative, and many lose all value. You should consult your own qualified advisors before making any real-world financial decision. Any decision you make outside the Service is solely your own responsibility.

9Intellectual Property

The Service and all of its content, design, branding, logos, text, graphics, software, and underlying technology are owned by or licensed to Draft Wars and are protected by intellectual property and other laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, frame, or create derivative works from any part of the Service, or use our names, marks, or branding, without our prior written consent. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Token names, symbols, and logos referenced in contests belong to their respective owners.

10Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; that contest data, scoring, or standings will be accurate or uninterrupted; or that any defects will be corrected. You use the Service at your own risk.

11Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL DRAFT WARS OR ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Because the Service involves no real-money wagering and no funds are ever held or moved by us, you acknowledge that our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

12Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Draft Wars and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law or the rights of any third party, or any content or handle you submit.

13Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, including contest formats, cadence, scoring, candidate pools, and any optional token gate. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be made reasonably prominent. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by disconnecting your wallet. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, void entries, or remove a display handle at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or to protect the Service, other users, or the integrity of the contests. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will survive.

15Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service will be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there, except where applicable law grants you rights to a different forum that cannot be waived.

Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at support@draftwars.gg and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally.
